Description

Single Freestanding VESA Monitor Desk Mount – Height Adjustable with Swivel, Tilt and Rotation, Fits 33–81 cm Screens, 8 kg Load

A single monitor arm that stands freely on a desk, requiring no clamp or grommet, opens up ergonomic possibilities for a wide range of workspaces. This mount is designed around a heavy, flat base — often a rectangle of steel or a circular disc — with a non‑slip rubber underside that keeps it planted while allowing the user to slide it gently when reorganising. The pole rises from the base and supports a single articulating arm that ends in a VESA plate. That plate fits virtually any monitor between 33 cm and 81 cm diagonally, from a compact 13‑inch portable screen to a large 32‑inch 4K display, so long as the monitor weighs no more than around 8 kg.

Adjustment in every axis: The arm can be raised or lowered along the pole through a generous range, often 20 cm or more, and locked at the desired height. The VESA head tilts forward and back, swivels left to right, and rotates 360° to switch between landscape and portrait. The motion is smooth and can be dialled in with a tension screw to match the weight of a specific screen; once set, the monitor stays where it is put and does not droop. This degree of movement means the screen can be pushed back against a wall for a tidy appearance, pulled forward for detailed work, or swung aside entirely when the desk needs to be cleared.

Material and finish: The pole and arm are built from steel with a black or silver powder‑coated finish that resists scratches and fingerprints. The VESA plate is metal, with soft rubber pads at the four screw points to cushion the monitor and reduce vibration. The base is weighty enough to counterbalance the arm even when fully extended, yet it has a relatively compact footprint. A clip on the pole or a channel inside the arm allows a few cables to be routed cleanly, hiding them from view.

Installation: The mount arrives partially disassembled. The pole bolts to the base, the arm slides onto the pole, and the VESA plate is screwed to the monitor. The monitor then hooks onto the arm — a step that is easier with two people if the screen is large. All tools and VESA screws are included, and the process rarely exceeds twenty minutes.

Everyday use and care: This stand is ideal for a home office, a studio, or a shared workspace where drilling a clamp mount is not possible. It is particularly useful with a standing‑desk converter, as the whole unit can be lifted and moved when the desk height changes. Wiping with a dry cloth keeps it clean; the rubber pads can be refreshed with a damp wipe. Over time, the height locking knob should be checked for tightness, but it requires very little upkeep.
